We are proud sponsors of….

Stockport Vikings FC’s dedicated girls team ‘Wildcats’.

Stockport Vikings FC is an England Football accredited 3-star football club with girls’ and boys’ teams ranging from the ages of seven to 18, a development section for five- and six-year-olds, and an open age team.

The club launched its dedicated girls’ teams following the success of its FA Weetabix Wildcats sessions in 2020, an ongoing Football Association’s grassroots initiative setup to encourage more girls to get involved in football. Shaun Wilkinson, Treasurer of Stockport Vikings said: “Since we launched Wildcats, we've continued to develop our girls football section and established girls’ teams from U8s right through to U14s, with a clear pathway for those wanting to enjoy football. It’s great to see the girls making lots of new friends and bonding as a team.

The continued expansion of Stockport Vikings girls football section has been in part down to the sponsorship we have received from companies like Broadstone Mill. We’re grateful for their support.’

Donations to charity

Thanks to our our wonderful customers! We have been able to donate a whopping £3500 to local charities this Christmas with help from the money made from our carrier bag sales!

We've been able to spread some festive cheer and help lots of local people through donating to various charities in our area, including St Ann’s Hospice, Chelwood Foodbank, Re:dish and to a local community Christmas lunch.
