Although most of us are at home in our comfy clothes (maybe even our pyjamas) at the moment, we are trying to keep spirits up in anticipation of life getting back to normal as soon as possible! Here’s our latest fashion blog post for you.
It might be 2020, but the 1970s are just around the corner. This spring/summer there’s a big dose of the 70s on the catwalk. The era was full of bell bottom flares, wedges and fancy frills. Do you remember it?!
If you want to go for a more subtle 70s vibe this spring, you should choose vibrant prints and big bold colours to help lift you out of the gloom of a long, wet and stormy winter, now followed by the Covid-19 season!
Remind yourself that floaty dresses can be worn in the daytime or in the evening – with a denim jacket and pumps suiting the look just as well as sandals, boots or heels.
Why not invest in a button-front shirt dress or maybe a top with frills or bell puffed sleeves?
As usual, denim continues to be one of the favourite and most popular materials which has spanned the decades, and you simply can’t go wrong with dresses, shirts, culottes and jumpsuits made from everyone’s favourite fabric. Rock a little bit of neon or corduroy too and you’ll be right on trend.
